Motorsport.com also reported that the car ran on sustainable fuel, while Formula1.com said Vettel called the experience “a very emotional moment”.

Both outlets framed the appearance as a tribute to Schumacher, with Motorsport.com reporting that Vettel completed a handful of laps and that the run drew an emotional reaction from fans at Monza. Vettel raced in Formula 1 from 2007 to 2022, making 300 Grand Prix starts with 53 wins, 57 poles and 122 podiums. Schumacher made 302 entries and took 87 wins and 150 podiums, with 72 of those victories coming for Ferrari.
