Verstappen signs Red Bull F1 deal through 2030

Max Verstappen has signed a Red Bull deal through 2030, ending exit talk as the four-time champion sits sixth in the 2026 standings on 112 points.

Max Verstappen has signed a new Red Bull contract through the end of 2030, with BBC Sport and Autosport reporting the extension keeps the four-time world champion with the team beyond his previous deal. BBC Sport also reported Verstappen said he was closer to retiring from Formula 1 than changing teams.

The Dutch driver is sixth in the 2026 drivers' championship on 112 points. Across 242 Formula 1 starts since 2015, Verstappen has recorded 71 wins, 51 poles and 129 podiums.

Red Bull has raced in Formula 1 since 2005 and has won 130 Grands Prix and six constructors' titles. RaceFans reported Formula 1 chief executive Stefano Domenicali hoped the new agreement would end the recent talk over Verstappen leaving the series.
