BBC Sport reported Max Verstappen passed 100 amateur karters in a 14-lap exhibition race at Silverstone. Its report said the Red Bull Racing driver started from the back of the grid and worked through the field in the Max vs 100 challenge.

Motorsport.com reported the Red Bull-run event took place on Wednesday 16 September and was streamed live on Disney+, while RaceFans also reported Verstappen beat the amateur field in the exhibition. The outing did not affect the Formula 1 standings, but it came during a season in which Verstappen sat sixth in the 2026 drivers' championship on 145 points. The Dutch driver, born on 30 September 1997, had 242 Formula 1 starts, 71 wins, 51 poles and 129 podiums from 2015 to 2026.
