Qualifying
Carlos Sainz put Ferrari third with a best Q3 time of 1:32.652, and Charles Leclerc followed in fourth on 1:32.740. Oscar Piastri qualified fifth for McLaren with 1:32.950, while George Russell took sixth for Mercedes on 1:32.974.
Pierre Gasly reached Q3 and placed seventh for Alpine F1 Team with 1:33.018. Fernando Alonso qualified eighth for Aston Martin on 1:33.309, and Kevin Magnussen took ninth for Haas F1 Team with 1:33.481.
Front row
Verstappen was quickest of the front row pair in Q1 with 1:33.046 and in Q2 with 1:32.584, before Norris delivered the fastest Q3 lap at 1:32.330. Verstappen's 1:32.361 left him second on the grid.

Ferrari locked out the second row with Sainz third and Leclerc fourth for round 19 of the 2024 season. Sergio Pérez completed the top 10 for Red Bull after reaching Q2 with 1:33.020 and no Q3 time.
