George Russell won the Singapore Grand Prix from pole by 5.430s over Max Verstappen, while Oscar Piastri kept the drivers' championship lead on 336 points.

George Russell won the Singapore Grand Prix for Mercedes from pole position at the Marina Bay Street Circuit on 5 October 2025. Max Verstappen finished second for Red Bull, 5.430 seconds behind Russell.

Race

Lando Norris took third for McLaren after starting fifth, ending the race 6.066 seconds off the winner. Oscar Piastri finished fourth from third on the grid for McLaren, while Andrea Kimi Antonelli completed a double top-five result for Mercedes after starting fourth.

Charles Leclerc came home sixth for Ferrari from seventh on the grid, and Fernando Alonso gained three places to finish seventh for Aston Martin from 10th. Lewis Hamilton dropped from sixth on the grid to eighth for Ferrari, Oliver Bearman finished ninth for Haas F1 Team from ninth, and Carlos Sainz climbed from 18th to 10th for Williams and was classified one lap down.

Championship picture

Piastri left round 18 still leading the drivers' championship on 336 points. Norris stayed second on 314 points, and Verstappen remained third on 273 points.

Fastest lap

Hamilton set the fastest lap for Ferrari on lap 48 with a 1:33.808. Russell's winning time was 1:40:22.367, and every driver in the top 10 was classified at the finish.
