George Russell took pole for the Singapore Grand Prix 2025 by 0.182s over Max Verstappen, with Mercedes, McLaren and Ferrari all placing cars in the top seven.

George Russell took pole position for Mercedes at the Singapore Grand Prix 2025 with a Q3 lap of 1:29.158. Max Verstappen qualified second for Red Bull at Marina Bay Street Circuit, 0.182 seconds behind Russell on 5 October 2025.

Qualifying

Oscar Piastri secured third for McLaren with a 1:29.524 in Q3, while Andrea Kimi Antonelli put the second Mercedes fourth on a 1:29.537. Lando Norris completed the top five for McLaren with a 1:29.586 after progressing through Q1 in 1:29.932 and Q2 in 1:29.809.

Lewis Hamilton qualified sixth for Ferrari with a best Q3 time of 1:29.688. Charles Leclerc lined up seventh for Ferrari on 1:29.784 after reaching Q3 from a 1:29.914 lap in Q2.

Top 10 grid

Isack Hadjar took eighth for RB F1 Team with a 1:29.846 in Q3. Oliver Bearman qualified ninth for Haas F1 Team on 1:29.868, and Fernando Alonso completed the top 10 for Aston Martin with a 1:29.955.

Russell led a top four covered by 0.379 seconds, with Verstappen, Piastri and Antonelli following the pole time. Mercedes placed first and fourth on the grid, McLaren started third and fifth, and Ferrari locked out the sixth and seventh positions.
