Qualifying

Lando Norris put McLaren third with a 1:20.772 in Q3, and Oscar Piastri made it a McLaren second row in fourth on 1:20.829. Charles Leclerc qualified fifth for Ferrari with a 1:20.852, while Lewis Hamilton took sixth for Mercedes on 1:21.011.

Top 10

Carlos Sainz placed seventh for Ferrari with a 1:21.041 in Q3, and Fernando Alonso qualified eighth for Aston Martin on 1:21.251. Sergio Pérez took ninth for Red Bull with a 1:21.425, and Kevin Magnussen completed the top 10 for Haas F1 Team on 1:21.500.

Russell had been quickest of the front row pair in Q1 with a 1:21.241, while Verstappen responded in Q2 with a 1:20.687 before improving again in Q3. Every top-10 starter reached Q3, and the first five places were covered by 0.332 seconds in the final segment.
