Lando Norris remains fourth in the 2026 standings on 186 points, with BBC Sport reporting fresh comments on the toll of his 2025 title run.

Lando Norris is fourth in the 2026 drivers' championship on 186 points. Across 161 Formula 1 Grands Prix for McLaren from 2019 to 2026, he has recorded 11 wins and 16 pole positions.

BBC Sport reported that Norris said he was "paying the price" for the effort behind his 2025 title, adding context to his current season. The same report said Norris described McLaren as a "different vibe" for Max Verstappen.

Away from the championship, Motorsport.com reported that Norris was seen driving his Ferrari F40 in London after the car's earlier 2025 crash. Formula1.com also recently published a feature on McLaren's engineering work with Justin Rose in golf.
