Motorsport.com reported Lewis Hamilton arrived at Monza in a Ferrari F40 before the Italian Grand Prix, adding another chapter to his reported restoration project.

Motorsport.com reported Lewis Hamilton arrived at Monza for Italian Grand Prix media day in a Ferrari F40. The same outlet said the seven-time Formula 1 champion had been restoring the car, while Hamilton headed into the 2026 weekend third in the drivers' championship on 183 points.

Earlier, Motorsport.com reported Hamilton had acquired an F40, and RaceFans highlighted social-media posts in which he described it as his dream car. Taken together, those reports linked the Monza appearance to a Ferrari road car already associated with him.

The reported arrival drew extra attention because Hamilton now races for Ferrari. The Italian constructor has competed in Formula 1 from 1950 to 2026, recording 250 wins and 16 constructors' titles.
