Antonelli reveals Rossi-inspired Monza helmet

Reports from Motorsport.com and RaceFans say Andrea Kimi Antonelli will wear a Valentino Rossi-inspired helmet at Monza, his home Formula 1 race.

Motorsport.com and RaceFans reported that Andrea Kimi Antonelli has unveiled a Valentino Rossi-inspired helmet for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. According to Motorsport.com, the design includes the Italian flag and is set to be used for his home race weekend.

Antonelli goes into Monza leading the 2026 drivers' championship on 242 points. Across 33 Formula 1 starts for Mercedes in 2025 and 2026, the Italian has recorded five wins, five pole positions and 10 podiums.

In a separate Monza report, Motorsport.com also said Mercedes continued an internal prank exchange by spraying Antonelli with whipped cream during media day. The same outlet reported that the 20-year-old, who turned 20 on 25 August, is also dealing with a grid penalty linked to new power unit components for the weekend.
