Post-Silverstone coverage focused on the British Grand Prix finish under the safety car. Autosport reported debate over whether the ending should prompt a rules change, while Motorsport.com said Anthony Davidson defended the decision to follow the regulations and separately reported Guenther Steiner calling for more use of AI in stewarding. RaceFans also reported that Carlos Sainz Jnr received a one-lap penalty for a Safety Car infringement.
