Madrid GP 2026: MAD-Coins plan, trophy shown

Motorsport.com reported Madrid’s 2026 Spanish Grand Prix is set to use MAD-Coins for fans, with organisers also unveiling the event trophy design.

Motorsport.com reported that organisers of Madrid’s inaugural Spanish Grand Prix are set to introduce a cashless payment system called MAD-Coins for fans at the race weekend. The outlet said the event is scheduled for 11-13 September as round 14 of the 2026 Formula 1 season, marking F1’s first visit to the new Madring circuit.

In a separate report, Motorsport.com said organisers have also revealed the trophy for the first Spanish Grand Prix to be held in Madrid. According to the outlet, the design is based on the circuit’s banked corner at the semi-street venue, and fan reaction to the look of the trophy followed soon after its unveiling.
