Autosport and Motorsport.com reported that the injury was sustained during Formula 1's summer break, and that Yuki Tsunoda will return to the Racing Bulls car for Monza. That keeps Lawson in the Red Bull seat for a second consecutive event.

Hadjar arrives at the Monza round eighth in the drivers' championship on 68 points, with Lawson ninth on 49. Tsunoda is 20th on 0 points, while Lawson has made 44 Formula 1 starts from 2023 to 2026 for three teams.
