Lando Norris took pole for the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix by 0.323s over Max Verstappen, with Carlos Sainz third as the top 10 grid was set.
Lando Norris took pole position for the Las Vegas Grand Prix on 23 November 2025 with a Q3 lap of 1:47.934 for McLaren. Max Verstappen qualified second for Red Bull at the Las Vegas Strip Street Circuit, 0.323s slower than Norris on a 1:48.257.
Qualifying
Carlos Sainz put Williams third with a 1:48.296, while George Russell took fourth for Mercedes on a 1:48.803. Oscar Piastri made it two McLarens in the top five with a 1:48.961 after progressing through Q1 and Q2 in 1:54.544 and 1:52.126.
Liam Lawson qualified sixth for RB F1 Team with a 1:49.062, and Fernando Alonso followed in seventh for Aston Martin on a 1:49.466. Isack Hadjar secured eighth for RB F1 Team with a 1:49.554, while Charles Leclerc placed ninth for Ferrari on a 1:49.872.
Top 10 grid
Pierre Gasly completed the top 10 for Alpine F1 Team with a Q3 lap of 1:51.540. Every driver in the top 10 reached Q3, and Norris led the final order after also topping his own progression with laps of 1:55.473 in Q1 and 1:51.379 in Q2.
Key gaps
The margin from Norris to Verstappen at the front was 0.323s, and the gap from pole to Sainz in third was 0.362s. Russell was 0.869s off pole in fourth, Piastri was 1.027s back in fifth, and Leclerc started ninth after finishing Q3 1.938s slower than Norris.
