Lando Norris won the Hungarian Grand Prix 2026 from pole by 15.080s over Max Verstappen, as Andrea Kimi Antonelli kept the drivers' lead.
Lando Norris won the Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring on 26 July 2026, beating Max Verstappen by 15.080 seconds. The McLaren driver started from pole position and completed round 11 in 1:39:56.180.
Race
Max Verstappen finished second for Red Bull after starting fourth, while Andrea Kimi Antonelli took third for Mercedes from seventh on the grid at +18.728. Charles Leclerc started second for Ferrari but finished fourth at +23.840, and Lewis Hamilton placed fifth for Ferrari at +24.540 after lining up fifth.
Isack Hadjar brought the second Red Bull home in sixth from eighth on the grid at +55.488, and George Russell finished seventh for Mercedes after starting sixth at +57.503. Charles Leclerc also set the fastest lap in 1:22.000 on lap 58.
Key movers
Antonelli gained four places from seventh to third, while Leclerc lost two places from second to fourth. Liam Lawson climbed from 11th on the grid to eighth for RB F1 Team, with Nico Hülkenberg ninth for Audi from 10th and Arvid Lindblad 10th for RB F1 Team from ninth.
Lawson, Hülkenberg and Lindblad were all classified as lapped in positions eight to 10, with times of +28.033, +30.382 and +51.050. Norris scored 25 points for the win, Verstappen took 18, and Antonelli added 15.
Championship
Andrea Kimi Antonelli led the drivers' championship after the race with 219 points. Lewis Hamilton held second on 169 points, and George Russell sat third on 160.
