Lewis Hamilton finished fourth at the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix, with BBC Sport and others reporting he criticised Ferrari’s delayed team orders at Zandvoort.
Lewis Hamilton finished fourth at Zandvoort, with Formula1.com reporting that he voiced frustration over team radio during the Dutch Grand Prix after missing the podium. BBC Sport reported that Hamilton said Ferrari’s delay in moving Charles Leclerc aside may have cost him second place.
Autosport and Motorsport.com also reported that Hamilton wanted Ferrari to handle those calls more efficiently, with both outlets saying he drew a comparison with Mercedes. RaceFans reported that Hamilton felt Ferrari’s tactics cost him third place during the race.
Hamilton remains third in the 2026 drivers’ championship on 183 points. The 41-year-old is in his 20th Formula 1 season, while Ferrari is competing in its 77th championship campaign and has 250 wins and 16 constructors’ titles.
