Dutch GP 2026: Lawson reported in for Hadjar

Autosport reported Liam Lawson is set to replace injured Isack Hadjar at the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix, with Hadjar hopeful of returning at Monza.

Autosport reported that Liam Lawson is set to replace Isack Hadjar for the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix after Hadjar sustained a wrist injury. Lawson arrived at the weekend ninth in the drivers' championship on 49 points, and the New Zealander has made 44 Formula 1 starts across 2023 to 2026 for three teams.

Autosport also reported that Hadjar hurt his wrist in a gym session and that Racing Bulls CEO Peter Bayer said the team was alerted on Friday to a possible driver change, with the situation developing again by Tuesday. Hadjar went into the Dutch weekend eighth in the standings on 68 points.

Motorsport.com reported that Hadjar is hopeful of returning for the Italian Grand Prix. The French driver has entered 33 Formula 1 races across 2025 and 2026, with one podium and a best finish of third.
