Formula1.com reported that Esteban Ocon and Ollie Bearman discussed inconsistency across the Haas VF-26 as a factor in Haas F1 Team’s difficult 2026 season. That report said Bearman described the situation as “not always a fair fight” between the two drivers, while Ocon also addressed the challenge of working with an uneven package.

Motorsport.com separately reported that Ocon said he has “nothing to announce yet” about his Formula 1 future. After 10 rounds of the 2026 season, Ocon sits 17th in the drivers’ championship on three points.

The 29-year-old French driver, born on 17 September 1996, has made 189 Formula 1 starts and recorded one win and four podiums. Haas has raced in Formula 1 since 2016 and remains without a race win or a constructors’ title, with the reported VF-26 inconsistency adding to its current problems.
