Goodwood 2026: Reported F1 appearances
Reports from Goodwood say Oscar Piastri, Pierre Gasly and Liam Lawson were among the F1 names involved, with demo runs and media appearances underway.
Reports from Goodwood say several Formula 1 figures are involved in the 2026 Festival of Speed. Autosport reported the event is running across four days of hillclimb demo runs and, with no clash with the F1 calendar, current grand prix drivers are part of the programme. BBC Sport also reported from the event that Harry and Becky spoke with Oscar Piastri and Alisha Palmowski; Piastri arrived sixth in the 2026 drivers' championship on 82 points.
Motorsport.com reported that Pierre Gasly drove Alpine’s all-electric A110 Future prototype at Goodwood. Gasly came into the event ninth in the standings on 42 points, and the Frenchman has 187 Formula 1 entries, one win and six podiums. The same outlet also reported that Liam Lawson drove Bruce McLaren’s Le Mans-winning Ford GT40; Lawson was 10th in the championship on 39 points and had made 44 F1 starts.
Elsewhere, Motorsport.com reported that Kimi Antonelli made his Goodwood debut and that Lando Norris took part in a balcony celebration linked to his 2025 Formula 1 title, along with a hillclimb run in the McLaren MCL60.
