Freddie Slater linked with Invicta F2 move for 2027

News - 2026-09-26 - By Jenny Marsh

Autosport reports Freddie Slater is in line to move from Formula 3 to Formula 2 with Invicta Racing in 2027, but no deal is confirmed yet.

Freddie Slater is being linked with a move to Formula 2 with Invicta Racing in 2027, according to Autosport. With no official announcement yet, the seat should be treated as a reported driver-market development rather than a confirmed deal.

Autosport said the Briton would step up after finishing as Formula 3 runner-up. Slater’s junior record also includes the 2024 Italian F4 title and the 2025 Formula Regional European championship.

The same report noted that Audi signed Slater in 2026 for its Driver Development Programme, before he moved into Formula 3 with Trident that season. If the reported Invicta switch is completed, it would mark his next move up the single-seater ladder.
