The same reports said stakeholders had discussed the idea earlier this season. There has been no official confirmation, so the proposed 290km distance remains a reported change rather than a confirmed regulation.

Among the teams on the current grid, Alpine F1 Team has raced in Formula One since 2021 and has one grand prix win, with no constructors' titles.
