Oscar Piastri won the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix from pole by 1.271s over Max Verstappen and extended his drivers' championship lead to 309 points.

Oscar Piastri won the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix at Circuit Park Zandvoort from pole, finishing 1.271 seconds ahead of Max Verstappen. The McLaren driver also set the fastest lap on lap 60 and left round 15 with 309 points in the drivers' championship.

Race

Piastri completed the race in 1:38:29.849, with Verstappen taking second for Red Bull from third on the grid at +1.271. Isack Hadjar finished third for RB F1 Team at +3.233 after starting fourth, while George Russell placed fourth for Mercedes at +5.654 from fifth on the grid.

Further back, Alexander Albon gained 10 places from 15th on the grid to finish fifth for Williams at +6.327. Oliver Bearman made up 14 positions from 20th to sixth for Haas F1 Team at +9.044, and Lance Stroll climbed from 19th to seventh for Aston Martin at +9.497.

Standout drives

Fernando Alonso took eighth for Aston Martin after starting 10th, and Yuki Tsunoda finished ninth for Red Bull from 12th on the grid. Esteban Ocon completed the points in 10th for Haas F1 Team after starting 18th, 14.063 seconds behind the winner.

Piastri added the fastest lap with a 1:12.271 on lap 60. Every classified finisher in the supplied top 10 reached the flag with the status listed as Finished.

Championship

The result left Piastri first in the drivers' championship on 309 points after 15 rounds. Lando Norris remained second on 275 points, and Verstappen stayed third on 205 points.
