Oscar Piastri took pole for the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix by 0.012s from Lando Norris, with McLaren locking out the front row at Zandvoort.

Oscar Piastri took pole position for the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix at Circuit Park Zandvoort with a Q3 lap of 1:08.662. Lando Norris qualified second for McLaren, 0.012s slower, as the team secured a front-row lockout for round 15.

Qualifying

Max Verstappen qualified third for Red Bull with a 1:08.925, which left him 0.263s off Piastri's pole time. Isack Hadjar took fourth for RB F1 Team on 1:09.208, while George Russell placed fifth for Mercedes with a 1:09.255.

Charles Leclerc qualified sixth for Ferrari in 1:09.340, and Lewis Hamilton followed in seventh for Ferrari with a 1:09.390. Liam Lawson put the second RB F1 Team car eighth on the grid with a 1:09.500.

Grid

Carlos Sainz qualified ninth for Williams after a 1:09.505 in Q3. Fernando Alonso completed the top 10 for Aston Martin with a 1:09.630.

Earlier in the session, Piastri led Q1 with a 1:09.338 and then improved to 1:08.964 in Q2 before sealing pole in Q3. Norris recorded a quicker Q2 time than Piastri with a 1:08.874, but his final Q3 lap of 1:08.674 left him second on the grid.
