BBC Sport reported that Cadillac’s 2026 Formula 1 driver line-up is expected to feature Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas. The pairing remains unconfirmed, with Cadillac set for its first season in Formula 1 in 2026.

The BBC described both drivers as race winners returning with the new team. Separate Motorsport.com reports have linked Perez closely to the project, saying he has tried to help attract Formula 1 personnel and offered feedback on potential hires. Motorsport.com also reported that Perez’s management held talks with other teams about 2027, but that he wants to remain with Cadillac.

If the reported line-up is confirmed, Bottas would add extensive experience. The Finn has 256 Formula 1 entries, 10 wins, 19 pole positions and 67 podiums, and he is currently 22nd in the 2026 drivers' championship on 0 points. Cadillac has yet to start its first Formula 1 season, so it has no race wins or constructors' titles.
