Oscar Piastri won the Belgian Grand Prix at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on 27 July 2025, beating Lando Norris by 3.415 seconds. The McLaren driver started second on the grid, while Norris converted pole position into second place and 18 points.

Race

Charles Leclerc finished third for Ferrari, 20.185 seconds behind Piastri, and Max Verstappen took fourth for Red Bull at +21.731. George Russell came home fifth for Mercedes from sixth on the grid, while Alexander Albon slipped from fifth at the start to sixth for Williams.

Lewis Hamilton made up 11 places for Ferrari, climbing from 18th on the grid to seventh at the flag at +40.679. Liam Lawson finished eighth for RB F1 Team from ninth on the grid, Gabriel Bortoleto took ninth for Sauber from 10th, and Pierre Gasly completed the points in 10th for Alpine F1 Team after starting 13th.

Championship

Piastri collected 25 points for the win and led the drivers' championship after round 13 with 266 points. Norris stayed second on 250 points, leaving the gap at 16, while Verstappen remained third on 185 points after his fourth-place finish.

Andrea Kimi Antonelli set the fastest lap on lap 32 with a 1:44.861. The race-winning time for Piastri was 1:25:22.601.
