2026 Belgian GP FP3: Antonelli quickest, Hamilton hits trouble

Andrea Kimi Antonelli was quickest in Free Practice 3 for the 2026 Belgian Grand Prix, with Formula1.com reporting that the Mercedes driver finished ahead of McLaren’s Lando Norris in the final session before qualifying. Autosport and Motorsport.com reported that Antonelli’s best lap was 1m45.990s, set on an early run on soft tyres. The Italian arrived at Spa-Francorchamps leading the drivers’ championship on 179 points.

The session ended with Lewis Hamilton crashing in his Ferrari. Formula1.com and RaceFans both reported the late incident, while Motorsport.com said it happened on the exit of Turn 13. The supplied sources did not confirm the extent of the damage or any effect on qualifying.
