Lewis Hamilton won the Barcelona Grand Prix on 14 June 2026 for Ferrari, finishing 19.561 seconds ahead of George Russell. Hamilton started second at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and also set the fastest lap on lap 44 with a 1:20.122.
Race
Russell started from pole for Mercedes and finished second, while Lando Norris took third for McLaren after starting fourth. Max Verstappen finished fourth for Red Bull from fifth on the grid, and Oscar Piastri came home fifth for McLaren after lining up seventh.
Isack Hadjar placed sixth for Red Bull from sixth on the grid and was classified one lap down. Pierre Gasly climbed from 14th to seventh for Alpine F1 Team, while Liam Lawson finished eighth for RB F1 Team from eighth on the grid.
Arvid Lindblad gained two places from 11th to ninth for RB F1 Team, and Franco Colapinto moved from 13th to 10th for Alpine F1 Team. Hamilton completed the race in 1:32:28.105, with Norris 23.719 seconds behind the winner and Verstappen 40.497 seconds back.
Championship
The result came in round 7 of the 2026 season. After the Barcelona Grand Prix, Andrea Kimi Antonelli led the drivers' championship on 156 points, Hamilton held second on 115, and Russell sat third on 106.
