Oscar Piastri won the Bahrain Grand Prix from pole by 15.499s over George Russell, while Lando Norris kept the drivers' championship lead on 77 points.

Oscar Piastri won the Bahrain Grand Prix on 13 April 2025 from pole at Bahrain International Circuit, finishing 15.499 seconds ahead of George Russell. Piastri also set the fastest lap on lap 36 with a 1:35.140 as Lando Norris took third from sixth on the grid.

Race

Piastri completed the race in 1:35:39.435 for McLaren, while Russell finished second for Mercedes at +15.499. Norris followed in third at +16.273 for McLaren after starting sixth, giving the team first and third at round four.

Charles Leclerc started second for Ferrari but finished fourth at +19.679, while Lewis Hamilton climbed from ninth on the grid to fifth at +27.993 in the other Ferrari. Max Verstappen took sixth for Red Bull from seventh on the grid at +34.395, and Pierre Gasly dropped from fourth to seventh for Alpine F1 Team at +36.002.

Esteban Ocon gained six places from 14th on the grid to finish eighth for Haas F1 Team at +44.244. Yuki Tsunoda finished ninth for Red Bull from 10th on the grid at +45.061, and Oliver Bearman rose from 20th to 10th for Haas F1 Team at +47.594 to score the final point.

Championship

After the Bahrain Grand Prix, Norris led the drivers' championship with 77 points. Piastri moved to 74 points in second after his victory, while Verstappen held third on 69 points.
