Audi's reported 2030 aim and ADUO push
Autosport and Motorsport.com report Audi has set a 2030 F1 title aim, while Mattia Binotto also wants the FIA to revisit the ADUO upgrade scheme.
Autosport and Motorsport.com report that Audi has set 2030 as its target to fight for the Formula 1 title. The same reports say the manufacturer, which took Sauber’s grid place for 2026, is ninth in the constructors’ standings after nine rounds with six points, all scored by Gabriel Bortoleto.
Both outlets also reported that Mattia Binotto wants the FIA to revisit the ADUO upgrade scheme. They linked that stance to Mercedes being among the manufacturers given room for additional power unit upgrades, with Binotto said to be concerned the system could be exploited.
That discussion comes amid a strong 2026 start for Mercedes. Autosport and Motorsport.com reported that Mercedes has won seven of the first nine races, while the team’s wider Formula 1 record stands at 138 wins and eight titles across 19 seasons.
