Motorsport.com reported Pierre Gasly views Alpine’s planned Dutch Grand Prix upgrades as important as the team tries to defend fifth in 2026.

Motorsport.com reported that Pierre Gasly sees Alpine’s planned Dutch Grand Prix upgrades as important for the team’s 2026 Formula 1 campaign. The report said Alpine had been outdeveloped by midfield rivals and was fifth in the constructors’ standings after round six.

Gasly arrived at this stage of the season 10th in the drivers’ championship on 42 points. That adds context to the reported push for new parts at Zandvoort as Alpine looks to hold its place in the midfield.

Gasly has made 187 Formula 1 entries from 2017 to 2026, with one win and six podiums. With the Dutch Grand Prix named as the target in that report, attention now turns to whether Alpine brings the update package to the next race weekend.
