Alex Albon will remain with Williams for the 2027 Formula 1 season after signing a one-year contract extension. BBC Sport reported the new deal, with Autosport, Motorsport.com and RaceFans also reporting that Albon has committed to the team for next year.

Autosport and Motorsport.com reported that Albon joined Williams before the 2022 season, so 2027 would be his sixth consecutive campaign with the team. Those outlets also reported that he had been among the drivers due to be out of contract at the end of this year, amid speculation over his future and that of team-mate Carlos Sainz.
