Monaco is included on the expanded sprint list, according to BBC Sport, Autosport, Motorsport.com and RaceFans. Those outlets reported that the Monaco Grand Prix will host a sprint weekend for the first time in 2027.
Formula1.com confirmed the full 2027 schedule, while Autosport and Motorsport.com reported that the season is due to open with the Bahrain Grand Prix on 14 March and conclude in Abu Dhabi. That keeps Formula 1 at 24 events while expanding the sprint format across the championship.
