Mike Hailwood

Mike Hailwood was a British motorcycle racer and racing driver, born on 2 April 1940. He competed in Formula 1 across the 1963, 1964, 1965, 1971, 1973 and 1974 seasons.

Across that span, Hailwood entered 41 Formula 1 races. He did not record a win or a pole position, took one podium, and his best finish was third.

Hailwood raced for Lola, Lotus-BRM, Lotus-Climax, McLaren and Surtees during his Formula 1 career.
